Total Time: 5 Minutes

Yield: 1 Serving


  • 8-12 oz. hot coffee (ground coffee of your choice)

  • 1 tbsp organic, unsalted grass-fed butter

  • 1 tbsp MCT oil 


  • 2 scoops collagen peptide powder

  • Splash of whole, grass-fed milk (or milk alternative)

  • Ground cinnamon


1. Prepare your ground coffee, by whichever method you prefer. I use the Bulletproof brand as it is a high quality, great-tasting, certified clean product.

2. Once hot, cut 1 tbsp of unsalted, grass-fed butter and add it to your coffee. 

3. Optional step: add 2 scoops of collagen peptide powder - I use the Vital Proteins plain flavor.

4. Add 1 tbsp of MCT oil - the Bulletproof brand also offers a great quality product. *Slowly build up your amount of MCT oil to allow your body to get used to the new type of fat. 

5. Add desired amount of ground cinnamon.

6. Using an immersion blender or small blender, such as a Magic Bullet, and blend your coffee until everything has been fully integrated. *If your coffee isn't warm enough, the butter may not melt completely and will clump with any powders. 

7. Add however much milk or milk alternative you'd like to and enjoy! You can also top your bulletproof coffee with some additional cinnamon for the extra flavor and aesthetic.
